Each year, Melanie and I keep track of the movies we watched and rate them from 1-10.

The rating doesn't rank the objective quality of the movie, but instead just indicates how much we enjoyed it ourselves. If we disagree strongly about a movie, we usually debate the rating and come to a compromise.

After a three year decline, the movie count came back up a little bit. Previous years:
